Gist: One of the forgotten cities of Spain sits atop the Basque region. It’s beautiful and reminiscent of northern Europe. It’s also home to the world-famous Guggenheim Museum. Known for it’s architecture, the city will also lure you in for its charm. If you are a bicycle lover, this city is one of the most accessible ones in Europe. It is the largest city of its autonomous community and the tenth largest in Spain. Bilbao lies within one of Spain’s largest metropolitan areas. Lovely little city.
